SCOPE

The purpose of the event is to present new developments in the context of security and armour systems. The provisional list of topics is as follows: armour systems and materials, damage mechanisms, defence systems, impact energy dissipation and absorption, blast-wave absorption, ballistic and impact phenomena, failure mechanisms, impact and terminal ballistics, applications and case studies, numerical simulation, modelling and theoretical studies, experimental methods, testing and standardisation. It is also a major purpose of the conference to facilitate the communication between specialists interested in fields related to security and armour systems.
