INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
The Light-weight Armour Group for Defence and Security has been in existence for at least 10 years. During this period we have gradually broadened our emphasis from light-weight armour to other topics as well. The success of the Group has been in part, the ability to include new topics in the meetings and conferences.
It is vital that to help the Governing Board of the organization to broaden the provision of topics of meetings, this can be done by having a standing International Scientific Committee present which can give us: (i) guidance as to areas that we should consider for future meetings; (ii) occasionally, provide us with their scientific expertise by reading some abstracts and papers; (iii) sometimes, suggest speakers who could present papers at future meetings.
We hope that the ISC will be a standing committee so that members of it can obtain an accurate feel for the work of the organization. Presently, the list of members of the LWAG International Scientific Committee is the following:
Leopold Kruszka
